Fabricating traditional acrylic dentures has not advanced appreciably in decades. This time-consuming procedure requires multiple appointments and a trusted lab technician to perform many steps manually. Unfortunately, the potential for inaccuracies during the treatment process can lead to a less than desirable result for the patient, decreased productivity for the practice, and as a result may contribute to a less than ideal experience for both the patient and doctor. Digital dentures offer a simpler workflow for the dentist, reducing lead time drastically, and enhancing the patient experience. This course will showcase a wide range of clinical cases that demonstrate oral rehabilitation and bring into focus how the digital workflow can help facilitate the process.
