Course Description

The surgery is the part everyone teaches. The prosthetic phase determines whether the case is profitable, whether the patient is happy, and whether you ever want to do another one.

This three-hour session picks up where most full-arch courses stop. The implants are integrated, the patient is healed, and the case must now be finished. Dr. Christian Yaste walks through the digital prosthetic workflow he uses in his own practice: how he confirms the foundation is stable before restoring, how he chooses between a verification appliance, a replica appliance, and an all-digital technique, how the prototype settles esthetics and occlusion before anything final is made, and what happens on delivery day.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Sequence the prosthetic phase from interim prosthesis to final delivery in three to four appointments rather than six to nine.

  • Confirm a stable foundation before restoring, using objective implant stability measurement rather than feel.

  • Compare the verification appliance, replica appliance, and all-digital techniques, and select the right option for the case.

  • Apply the prototype appliance stage to settle esthetics, phonetics, function and occlusion before the final prosthesis is fabricated.

  • Run a delivery-day protocol covering passivity, fit, intaglio, esthetics, function, phonetics and occlusion.

Dr. Christian Yaste

Dr. Christian Yaste is a practicing clinician, author, and educator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with postgraduate training at Carolinas Medical Center, he founded Ballantyne Dentistry and Charlotte Dental Implant Solutions, which were recognized for three consecutive years as a Fortune Top 100 Best Place to Work in Healthcare.


He is the author of A Smile Where There Was None, a clinical textbook on fixed full-arch implant dentistry, and Open Your Mouth, a patient guide to modern dental care. He is a Key Opinion Leader and advisory board member for several dental technology and implant companies, and has completed hundreds of guided full-arch surgeries and conversions.
