Digital technology has transformed the way clinicians approach removable prosthodontics, offering new tools that streamline workflow while preserving time-tested principles. This course will highlight practical applications of digital scanners, virtual records, and reference dentures to simplify treatment and improve patient outcomes. Participants will gain insights into when traditional methods still apply, and where digital advancements create new efficiencies without compromising the quality of care.

  • Explain the step-by-step procedure for accurately recording centric relation (CR) and jaw records.
  • Differentiate among various types of occlusions and evaluate various appropriate occlusal schemes

Meet the Instructor

Dr. Shervin Tabeshfar

 

Dr. Shervin Tabeshfar is a seasoned prosthodontist practicing in Northern Virginia and a former clinical assistant professor at Boston University in the specialty of prosthodontics. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006, after which he went on to complete his training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2010. He earned his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies and Master of Science in Dentistry in the specialty if prosthodontics in 2013 from Boston University. 

Dr. Tabeshfar lectures nationally and combines his vast experiences in clinical practice and academia into his presentations to bring about the best evidence-based and most fruitful results for his colleagues and audiences.
